Just to follow up with the Still Photographs, the above picture is from a collection known as "Witness" by photojournalist James Nachtwey. You can find his collection at http://www.jamesnachtwey.com/ and I've also put a link to it under my "favorite links" on the right hand side of this blog. Certainly, taking any photos after viewing his powerful work was intimidating. I made the mistake of studying his collection alone when I wasn't in a particularly cheery mood to begin with. His words are compassionate and his work is courageous.
